FAA Grants CNN Permission to Fly Drones as Test for Newsgathering

After receiving preliminary approval from the FAA, Cable news channel CNN plans to study the use of drones as a tool for broadcast journalism. CNN announced an agreement with the Federal Aviation Administration that will allow the news organization to fly the unmanned aircraft despite the commercial ban on drones. ... AJA Debuts and Ships the 4K CION Production Camera

AJA showed off their new CION 4K production camera at events in Los Angeles last week. Originally slated for summer 2014, units have now begun shipping.
